Doriane Elizabeth Godbee (Doriane Scales), was born on July 16th 1989 in Tucson Arizona. She was a military child who moved and lived in many different places in her short life. She was a natural singer and dancer. At only 9 years old, she was paid to sing the national anthem at a baseball game for the first time. Like most girls, when she was a child Doriane loved Disney movies, and especially Disney princesses. She was however troubled by the fact that she never saw a princess that looked like her. She was 19 years old when Tiana was debuted. A black princess that looked like her, for the very first time. After moving to Augusta, Doriane earned her degree in early childhood education, in 2012 and became a certified zumba instructor in 2013. She worked and volunteered in both areas for many years. In 2020 after being told that she could only play Tiana by another company, Doriane had the idea to create what become BBM, an all inclusive princess company. BBM was her baby, she loved her business, her partners, and her cast. She always wanted her cast to feel included, appreciated and loved.
